Sectra Education Portal

Interactive learning and teaching platform with real-life anatomy and clinical cases

Access a growing library of quality-assured, premium teaching content from top institutions around the world

Sectra Education Portal is an interactive learning and teaching platform that uses real-life anatomy and clinical cases to develop critical thinking in medical education and training. By connecting to the cloud-based sharing portal, teachers, tutors, residents, and students have access to an extensive library of medical cases, providing them with a wide variety of clinical content they can visualize and modify. Through Sectra’s collaborative network, you and your institution can share cases and knowledge with other Sectra users from around the world.

Sectra Education Portal ties in normal anatomy, pathology, trauma, orthopaedics, histology, oncology, surgery and other specialties, grounding medical education in actual clinical situations and revealing the central role radiology and histology play throughout the patient pathway.

Medical imaging has become a critical component of patient diagnosis and treatment in virtually all medical disciplines. By enabling students to interact with these images from the moment they begin their medical education, we will be priming them for their future careers in whatever medical discipline they choose.

Bruce Forster, Professor and Head of Department of Radiology University of British Columbia, Canada

To interact with the 3D renderings on the Sectra Table enables our students to learn and explore in a realistic environment. The portal itself is yet another way for enhancing medical training since students can access cases from their own workstations.
